Abstract
This study reports a previously unrecognized pathogenic manifestation of Thelohanellus kitauei, a myxozoan parasite infecting the skin of common carp (Cyprinus carpio). The findings expand current understanding of host–parasite interactions and disease presentation in aquaculture species.
